Mesmerizing Performance By GCW Udhampur At International Women’s Day Celebration

In view of the outreach activities, the students from Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur put up a mesmerizing performance during the celebration of International Women's Day held at District Police Lines Udhampur on March 07, 2024.
The Theme based cultural programme was prepared under the supervision of Principal of the college Dr. Nalini Pathania.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Mr. Joginder Singh Jasrotia was the chief guest while Judicial First Class Magistrate Ms. Malika Sharma was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The programme organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police Udhampur in collaboration with Department of Social Welfare Udhampur and Special Cell for Women Udhampur.
Students of music department GCW Udhampur namely Shruti Sharma and Party presented a theme based scintillating cultural programme which was highly applauded by the audience. Besides a motivational theme based skit was also presented by the students of GCW Udhampur namely Seema and party which was also highly appreciated by the audience.
About 38 students of the college participated and received mementoes of participation. Refreshment was also served to the students by the organizers. HoD Music Associate Professor Dr. Seema Sharma, Assistant Professor of Music, Dr. Shallu Jasrotia, Assistant Professor of Music Mr. Yash Kumar and Mr. Kuldeep Singh LFE escorted the students. The proceedings of the programmes were conducted by Ms. Azra Parveen of Special Cell for Women Udhampur.
Among others, Additional SP Udhampur, Mr. Baljeet Singh, District Social Welfare Officer, Ms. Kanika Gupta, Wing Commander Indian Air force Sonam Bakshi, Advocate Sanjeet Kumar, other senior officers of district police and students were also present on the occasion.
